- FINAL PROJECTS: Here is a summary of what was said in class about turning in your final projects for CMGT582:
- unless you have made other arrangements with me, the deadline for your projects is Friday May 9, 4:30pm
- please e-mail me a copy of your final project (or a link to it) by that deadline. It is your responsibility to make sure this will work (i.e. that the attachment won't be too big to fit through the USC mail system, that the format you use won't be too quirky to be understood by my computer, etc. If you have any doubt, don't wait until the last minute.)
- please also plan to deliver a physical copy of your project by that deadline (i.e. a printout of the paper, a printout of the web pages you created and would like me to consider for your grade, a DVD of your movie, etc.). This is intended both to spare my printer and, more importantly, to insure you get full credit for your work: while I would do my best to print/view/download what you e-mail me, I can't guarantee that it will look the way you intended it.
- physical delivery can be made either in Kerckhoff Hall (mbox outside my office door or with Jennifer at the reception desk - be aware that KER closes at 4:30pm) or at the faculty mailboxes in the East Lobby of ASC (where they will timestamp what you turn in).
- PLEASE PICK A DATE TO PRESENT YOUR FINAL PROJECT TO THE CLASS on the Research Projects Sign-up . Before you pick a date, please read the rules at the top of the page (and follow them).
- New page with Technology Recourses at USC (including info on publishing web pages)
- SPECIAL PRESENTATION: on March 31st, during the second half of the class, we will have a presentation by Susan Gardner (USC Libraries Communication Librarian) who will demonstrate a few of the key library resources for research. She will be available to answer your questions about library resources that can be helpful for your research projects. USC Library Resources for CMGT582]
